In the department are studying students of the 4^th course of the medical faculty and the faculty of foreign students on Speciality " Medical Care", students of the 4^th course of the Dentistry Faculty; interns and doctors-cadets from scientific and educational institute of postgraduate education, specialty "Neurology", "General practice-family medicine", "Medicine of urgent conditions", "Internal medicine", "Orthopedics and traumatology", "Pediatrics"; students of Institute of Nursing: "Nursing in Neurology," "Bachelor Nursing" (4^th course), "ADN" (2^nd course).

Training is carried out in accordance with the programs approved by the Central Methodological Cabinet of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Successful realization of the curriculum is possible thanks to the powerful clinical base of the Ternopil Regional Municipal Clinical Psycho-Neurological Hospital, which includes 5 neurological and 1 emergency departments. The hospital has modern diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation facilities. The peculiarity of the educational process at the department is the method of conducting a practical skills which, laying the foundations of the statement of the topical and clinical diagnosis, promotes the formation in the clinical tissue sprouts in students. In the educational process actively used presentations to practical classes, which include diagrams, drawings, photographs and videos as our own clinical observations, and borrowed from the Internet.
